Hugh Tracey Chromatic Celeste Treble

The celeste chromatic is mounted on a board, with a 17-Note in C on the front side, and 17 notes in B on the back – that is, the back side has flats that you play with the fingers. Best chromatic kalimba for small hands. We expect more of these from Africa around May 2021.

This is an option for playing chromatic with medium or smaller hands.

The board is 3/4 inch thick and this is the kalimba that Sharon plays in the YouTube video. This one is definitely better for small hands – meaning many women and also many men (ie, not just children).

Each of these kalimbas come with the built in pickup.

We don’t yet have a photo of the Celeste Chromatic Treble, but we will have one up when these kalimbas come in from Africa.
