Kalimba Magic NEWS |
Kalimba Magic has made a huge national and international footprint, but we are relatively invisible in our own backyard of Tucson, Arizona. I am trying to change that by doing more local activities, and the Tucson Festival of Books is a great opportunity for us to show the world one of the things we do best - write kalimba instructional books!
We will be a vendor at the Tucson Festival of Books, and we'll have a booth displaying our Kalimba books on the University of Arizona Mall, 9:30 am - 5:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday March 12-13, 2011. The festival is free and open to the public. You should be able to park in any U of A lots for free, or in the parking garages for the regular fee.
We will be out with kalimbas and copies of each of our kalimba music books:
At this event, we will be doing the equivalent of a 17.5% discount, but will be charging Tucson and AZ state sales tax of 9.1%, resulting in an overall equivalent discount of 10% below our listed pre-tax prices. In other words, a $20 book will be $18, including sales tax, and a $100 kalimba will be $90, including sales tax.
