Home > Uncategorized > I am very new to Kalimbas, and music theory in general. I really like the sound of the old African Mbiras, a bit of a lower tone, less ‘music box like’. Would this “Hugh Tracey African Karimba” Sound more like what I’m talking about, than compared to say a Hugh Tracey Celeste? Also, which sounds less like a music box, the “Hugh Tracey African Karimba”, or the “Celtic D Karimba” Apologies if none of what I said made sense, like I said, I’m so new to all this. Thanks!
