This is a song I wrote 7 years ago, and then created a story around it. Soon you'll be able to
learn this song too, as we post the tablature for the Intro (same as Outro), and the A and B Parts.
Today, instead of learning any detailed parts, let's just focus on the overall structure of the song. There are three
different parts, but each part is played multiple times. First, there is the INTRO, which is played twice. After
the INTRO comes the A PART, then the B PART,
then the A and B PARTS repeat. Finally, we end with an OUTRO, which is almost identical to the INTRO.
INTRO . . . INTRO . . . A PART . . . B PART . . . A PART . . . B PART . . . OUTRO
Every song will have its own structure, but many songs can have the same
structure. This is a fairly simple structure.
When you learn a song, you actually learn the different parts, and then learn how
the parts fit together. How the parts fit together is the structure of the song.
Tune in next week to learn how to play the INTRO - unless of course you can
figure it out just from the video. Best of luck!
