7: Using Your Right Thumb and Index Finger Simultaneously

Last week, we learned about playing with the right forefinger.

I find this technique to be very useful. For example, if you need to play two tines on the same side with one other unplayed tine in between - this is trivial to do with the right thumb and finger - that makes a 5th interval on a diatonic kalimba.

This tablature shows using the right thumb and index finger in both a staggered approach and simultaneously to play the 5th interval.
