Listen to this karimba riff in G Major, and also to this karimba riff in G Minor. Ths song is pretty much the same in both cases, but the tines have been retuned from major to minor. What a difference a new tuning makes. It can open a totally new door, bringing new sounds and new ideas to old songs, and it will also help you create new songs.
