Making the Bridge

The bridge, in this common design, is a piece of wood with a thin piece of metal rod. Glue the bridge wood onto the front of the face wood. Drill holes through the bridge to accommodate bolts holding down the aluminum depressor bar (not shown). The bolts will be held down by T-nuts which dig into the back side of the face wood.
