Building a Gourd Resonator or a Gourd Kalimba:
Playing Kalimba Inside a Gourd

To show you what I mean about playing a kalimba in a gourd, check out Mark Holdaway playing a karimba out of, and then inside a gourd.

This trick works best with a flat board-mounted kalimba, e.g., the Catania board pianos, or the Hugh Tracey Celeste and TM models or the karimbas.
