A Message about Thumb Nails from a Player

"My thumb nail is okay now after a serious break. I found myself in a nail studio for the first time in my life - and they made my nails stronger. It's fantastic to play now (especially glissandos, of course). The sound is also better because I can play with just the thumb nail now. My thumb nails were too short to do that - even before they broke - and sometimes I played with the nail and flesh at the same time. "
