Don't Leave Your Kalimba on the Bus!

I need a break this week, so I'm providing some short tips.

You might laugh, but playing the kalimba can be very relaxing, and sometimes I fall asleep while playing. My thumbs get slower and slower, and next thing I know... Hey, we just passed my stop! I jump up and leave my kalimba on the bus.

Fortunately, some good soul took it to the city bus lost-and-found. I was able to prove ownership of the kalimba by playing "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring."

A similar tip: don't leave your kalimba on the roof of your car. Fortunately, my luggage rack caught it, and all it needed was a minor retuning.
