Thumbnail Care
To Clip or to File? Part II

After you file or clip your thumbnails, you get a different sound on your kalimba: it has more of a click in the attack. I find this annoying. Fortunately, it goes away as you play and grind the nail down to a smoother shape. It takes me about an hour of playing to get a bad click to go away. And, I find the click is worse after I clip rather than file my thumbnails.
