How to Apply the Super Glue - Part I

My wife Deb discovered Loctite Super Glue, which comes in a little container that looks like nail polish. The top screws off and has a little applicator brush.

I apply the glue liberally to my broken thumb nail, putting a lot at the location of the break as well as lower down toward, but not on, the cuticle. It takes about 10 minutes for it to dry on the nail, while skin-to-skin seems to bond in less than a second—avoid getting the glue get on your cuticle or other skin.
