TIP OF THE DAY
Tuesday, February 20, 2007 This tip comes from Lizabeth in Canada: I just wanted to share another carrying case option to the wooden boxes you currently offer, that I thought other customers might be interested in. When I bought my Dell laptop, I only had it 3 days when the faulty video card conked out. Anyways they have a terrific warranty program and I sent it back to them at no cost to me and they sent me out a complete new package that included a second free laptop bag. Until just a few weeks ago I didn't know what to do with the second bag. The idea came to me, and the bag works great: I keep all my music, tuner, mini amp and cable, Alaskan pics, and there's even a spot for my original 8 note in the bag. The main compartment where I can strap in my Alto has enough room for my new Karimba when it arrives too! The whole case is padded so you can be sure when you transport your instruments they are safe from bumps, drops and even the weather. You can pick up these cases for about $50 and up depending on whether you want canvas or leather. Lizabeth! Thank you. My student Jordan also uses a laptop case to carry his kalimbas, but I didn't really think of it for a tip till it came to me a second time, in your words. --Mark; |
