How Do You Get a Treblito Anyway?
(OR: I'd like to learn how to take my kalimba apart and put it back together again, in a way that won't wreck the instrument or cause me bodily harm!)

How do you get a treblito? There are two answers. You could buy one from Kalimba Magic (we take a Treble kalimba and remove 8 tines to produce a 9-note Treblito, and we'll send you the tines we take off). OR, you could make one yourself.

The PDF document, which you can view by clicking on the link below, shows you how to turn a Treble into a Treblito. It should take you about 30 minutes and requires no tools beyond a kichen knife. The main steps of taking the kalimba apart and putting it back together will be useful for other reasons, so bookmark this page in your mind in case a reason presents itself to you.
