This playshop will explore using the kalimba in four different dimensions.

THE FOURTH DIMENSION is using the kalimba as a barometer of group unity. Imagine four or five people, all playing kalimbas tuned in complimentary ways. The music won't sound bad as the kalimbas are in tune with each other. But how good will it sound? That will depend on how sensitive everyone is to one another, and how they are able to respond to one another. Better music indicates more unity.
