New Age Sounds
Simulating Digital Delay

Last week we learned about the backbone of a chord, and we learned a chord progression that was made only of a 1 and a 5. Now the other hand is getting bored, so let's give it something to do—but let's keep it simple: a single note played over and over.

Listen to this - a simulation of digital delay. Digital delay is basically an echo. By playing that note over and over again, it sounds as if we are using digital delay.

Stick with me the next two weeks—this is going to build into something cool.
