THE ELECTRIC KALIMBA

The Hugh Tracey Kalimba now comes with an optional piezo-electric pickup with a quarter-inch jack installed at the factory in Africa. Not only can you play as loud as the drummer next to you, but you can also play the kalimba through killer effects processors to make all sorts of cool sounds.

All kalimba models are available with the electric pickup: Alto, TM Alto, Treble, Celeste Treble, Celeste Pentatonic, Box Pentatonic, and Karimba.
