New Kalimba Retailers

We've updated our Kalimba Retailers page to let you know where you can drive to a store and find a Hugh Tracey Kalimba or Hokema Sansula. Our kalimbas can now be purchased in stores in 19 states!

About 15% of all Kalimba Magic sales are to folks in California, and it looks like the music stores in California are starting to catch on too! In the last year, we've added four retailers in California:

Hugh Tracey Kalimbas are now in 10 different Sam Ash locations, which account for our first retailers in New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Nevada.

MIM, the Museum of Musical Instruments, is opening on April 24 in Phoenix, Arizona, and they will be carrying the Hugh Tracey Kalimba in their gift shop. This museum should be like nothing else on earth, and I encourage you to go and check it out yourself. We will have more of a report on the MIM after we visit.

The most exciting new kalimba retailer is one that I can't say too much about - someone in Canada recently got so excited about the kalimba that it looks like she is going to become a retailer out of her home. We don't have all the details worked out yet, but it seems that she will have a modest stock of personal instruments which are also display instruments, and I will either ship instruments to people who purchase them, or if a display instrument is purchased I will replace the display instrument. I hope to have an announcement along these lines in a month or two.
